Moja Identity Relaunch

Today we have launched a brand new identity for Moja.

Over the past 6 months, Moja has grown considerably, adding a number of new services to our offering. With our new direction, we felt it was necessary to develop a new identity to underpin our push into new areas.

Our new website reflects one key area that we will be shouting about over the next few months, standards based web design. We will talk about this a little more in a separate posting later, but at the core of this approach is designing with less eye candy. Next time you visit that website that is full of flash animation ask yourself how effective it really is. Then ask yourself how well would it work if you couldn’t see that flash animation? You may think that most visitors to your site will be able to view flash animation, but that is not always the case. What about visitors with special needs? Visually impaired visitors will most likely use a screen reader to view your site, but if that screen reader can’t view your fancy images and flash animation, how is that going to reflect on their experience?

So, with that in mind, you will notice while there is far less eye candy in our website, it still has the visual impact that you would expect from a creative agency. A direct result of choosing text over images, and a reduction of the use of flash, it results in smaller pages, which load faster.

Our choice of colours represent are intention not shout about who we are, giving more attention to the actual content, which is what you came here for right?

Please, we love feedback of any kind. This site is designed for you, not us, so if something does not work for you, let us know!
